Wow a trip through memory lane thanks for the videos esp Argent. The comments on the video from years ago were touching Sounds like life was rough for you. An early attempt at running away some drugs and alcohol But a real appreciation for music and woodworking shines through. You must have been a looker to attract all those models singers and starlets

I hated the old country music Harvey played. Usually when he listened to it bad times were coming.

The loathing stemmed more from his low states of depression than for the music itself.

Ps I found the Beatles AND the Beach Boys too girlie to take those falsetto voices if the beach boys and the merry go round bubble gum sounding Beatles music to hard to take no testosterone Only after Lennon did a few of his last songs and Harrison did his one song could I stand him and the beach Boys never

Interesting. I found John Lennon to be unlikeable, though not deserving of his demise. We'll never know the true motives of his killer; my observation of John Lennon included militant behavior, reprisal and used those as tools, and only represents the corruption of famedom.

Really interesting post about your musical journey. So different from mine as a girl growing up around the same time. Not only did we love the Beatles -- we loved the Monkees.

Thanks for sharing that Argent song and describing their performance. I've been wanting to revisit them.
