Let’s start by saying it’s likely some segment of the population will use such words in their daily exchanges. Botanists, Agrarians to name a few.
No matter what, no matter when, someone, somewhere - is fryin’ potatoes.

Stretching one’s vocabulary deserves merit - mitigating my knucklehead syndrome, not so much:
Born in the antebellum, his nose seemed a tiny rostellum. His lady named Della, who married this fella, went on to bear many rostella.
So there you go. We should be careful what we ask for.
There are more lessons here, a bit more philosophical: the only power words have is given by us, stigma being a bit of a sleeper. Seems there might be some good in the word.
Most importantly is Nature’s endless creativity in regard to insuring the passing along of traits. If there is any machinery involved, procreation is the engine. A closer look at orchids might turn anyone into a Botanist.
Should we ask what you are thinking of while reading this post?
Do you have a pulse?
Can you use rostellum in a sentence?
Can you find a word that rhymes with orange?
It is a strange and unusual world indeed.
Unabashedly shameless updates:
S@UP subscribed to Patti Smith (free). Being hard rockers during the seventies, we snubbed our noses at the whole Patti Smith premise, but nowadays seek reminiscence.
We’ll pay homage to her for her message: free expression and art for the masses.
This is Strange and Unusual Places, and we don’t bluff. When it comes to the strange and unusual this is all business. Play time is fun. There is also a farm to support. A paywall seems restricting, and yet cost of doing business is a thing. The story is the primary objective here, but it doesn’t, on its own, buy groceries or maintain the grounds.
The best option seems to be donation, so look for this in the coming weeks. It’s a tough row to hoe, at least it will remain free with voluntary donations. The goal of monetizing hasn’t changed from the beginning. The cold realities won’t change either.
The plan was to launch in 2023; that goal is met and better than anticipated. Growth is the next goal as it must be from here on. Readership is high in this group…it will only go down without fresh eyes on…anything can get redundant.
So do your best to stay engaged, it’s the only thing we ask for.

I cannot use rostellum in a sentence with the given definition or any definition after researching it for that matter. What does beaklike even mean? Like what can a beaklike process actually be? Not sure I can fully understand it unless it refers to how birds use their beaks? Anyway enough question marks from me. Took a ride out the other day on Stockertown trail and being that frost covered the ground I covered up and pulled out the old whoolrich and was sweating by the end of the ride, hell of a jacket a very much appreciated gift.
