“…and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." Declaration of Independence
A mere mention of The American Man is an invitation to violent retribution in today’s twisted environment; one would imagine we alone are the cause of such an abomination, and for that reason should be abolished from the Earth, as though we do not suffer or contribute alongside the remainder of humanity, or shed precious blood or sacrifice our progeny for the good of all.
It’s as if we alone are the cause of the World’s ills, deserve no history of our own, merit no folkways and hold no image of The American Man but one, that freedom and liberty are ours only at the cost of robbing it from others. That The Declaration of Independence is a fiction and The Constitution of the United States of America a quaint but obsolete document, its validity a matter of interpretation.
So it has become in America.
Who is The American Man?
Should I find myself at the portal of those most holy gates, Saint Peter will surely hold me there for eternity. He might reason Hell is the proper place for my soul, since I will prevail in debate with the Devil himself. Yet he cannot find me without merit, and so might consider me for grace, but for fear I will corrupt the Heavenly bodies within.
From one American Man
So I will demand a counsel with GOD, and accept my disposition by The Almighty alone, when I will finally have my word.
To imagine we are not here by escaping persecution is a folly; to imagine we are here to repeat the sins of our fathers is a lie; to imagine we do not consider all men to be equal is a mere justification for sedition; to imagine we are complacent by virtue of our silence is not our peril alone.
Meet Bubba
Bubba is the metaphor referred to by the intelligentsia within our modern-day radical anti-American shadow regime; the belligerents who come to us with smiles, promising a new tomorrow with shining towers and equal outcomes for all. Missing from their language are words like independence, individualism, equality, justice. They twist our language to meet their own goals by sowing their seeds of divisiveness, turning brother against brother, sister against sister, neighbor against neighbor. They unleash upon us an angry mob to rape and beat our most vulnerable, militarize our youth to forward their ends, initiate reprisal for speaking out against them, in our own defense, all the while aiming to render us defenseless.
The goal of this shadow regime is for one man to hold sway over another, to capture his surplus and enslave his progeny. His strategy is to raise the ire of Bubba and cause him to finally strike out, thereby giving him cause to meet his ends, his means being violence.
To imagine that Bubba is one degree above the savage beast would be a mistake not to be blamed on him, for he is the farmer, the maker, the steelman, the stoneman, the housewright, the father and son where every son is born a warrior.
No, Bubba is the serpent who lies in wait, he lies in wait behind every rock and tree seeking only peace and to propagate as all living things must do.
The time for being polite is ended, we are by nature non-violent and peaceful but for the abuses rendered one another in expression of our anxieties at an overshadowing cloud of deceit.
Bubba is The American Man and the most feared of all the enemies of freedom. He will wait and suffer these evils while these evils are sufferable.
To imagine that his being is without reason is folly, to think his kindness is insincere is stupidity, to consider his resolve inconsequential is ignorance.
That is The American Man.
And this is fiction.
Politics is a lot like dog shit, sticks tenaciously to the lugs of the boot, good to scrape a bit of it off.
